How It Works

Whether you dry clean weekly, monthly or just once in a while, you can enjoy the convenience of ZOOTS home delivery.

Choose the service that works best for you:
  • Regular Service: If you dry clean once a month or more often Regular Service is perfect for you. ZOOTS will stop by on your regular service days, and you don't have to schedule a pick-up. Because your ZOOTS driver is in your neighborhood twice a week anyway, you never have to worry if you don't have anything to put out for cleaning.

  • On-Call Service: If you dry clean less than once a month On-Call Service is perfect for you. Just contact us when you have dry cleaning to be picked up.

    • Scheduling an On-Call pick-up is simple – you can click “Schedule an On-Call Pick-up” at ZOOTS.com, email homedelivery@zoots.com or call 1-888-558-5588.

    • You can request On-Call service as late as 3 p.m. the business day prior to your scheduled service day (Monday/Thursday or Tuesday/Friday). For instance, if you would like your order picked up on a Tuesday, contact us any time before 3 p.m. on Monday. It’s that easy.

    • Your cleaned order will be returned on your next service day, three days later. For instance, if we pick up your order on Monday your garments will be returned cleaned and pressed on Thursday.

If you have special instructions, no problem! Just fill out a Special Instruction Form and leave it with your ZOOTS bag.

Our pricing is hassle-free, too. Prices for frequently cleaned garments are posted on our web site. As for billing, we will charge your credit card at the end of each month. It's really that simple.

The following are answers to questions we're most frequently asked.

Do you use Perc in your cleaning?
No. ZOOTS uses an environmentally friendlier cleaning process that leaves your clothes without that "dry cleaning" smell.

Where do you pick up and drop off my clothes?
You choose the location you'd like our courteous drivers to service. It's best if you choose a weather-sheltered location.

What type of bag do I use to put my clothes in for pick-up?
At no charge we'll provide sturdy ZOOTS purple laundry bags. If you do not have a ZOOTS purple bag, just leave your dry cleaning in a plastic bag in your usual drop-off location. Please be sure to mark "Dry Cleaning for ZOOTS" on the bag in large letters. Your driver will pick it up and leave a purple bag for your next order.

How do I get my special ZOOTS purple laundry bag?
Your driver leaves one for you each time he picks up your clothes.

Do I have to be there when the drop-off or pick-up is made?
No. There is no need to be home to use the service. Your driver will service your pre-designated location.

How do I pay for your service?
Your cleaning will be charged to your credit card. You will receive a ZOOTS monthly statement that documents your charges. 

How do I change my personal information and/or preferences?
Go to the Preferences page under MY ZOOTS on the navigation bar, call our Customer Care Center at 1-888-558-5588 or email us at homedelivery@zoots.com.

How will I know my scheduled drop-off and pick-up days?
Upon sign-up, you will receive via email a confirmation of your start date. In addition, on our first visit our driver will leave you a welcome kit which will include, among other things, your scheduled drop-off and pick-up days.

How do I tell ZOOTS about a special request/issue with my garments?
Simply leave a detailed note in your bag identifying the specific garment (including color, fabric type and label if possible) along with your specific cleaning instructions.  You can also print a Special Instruction Form located under MY ZOOTS.

What do I do if I have a problem with my order after I get my clothes back?
Contact a ZOOTS customer care representative within 14 days by email at homedelivery@zoots.com, via the Communicate With Us page or by phone at 1-888-558-5588. Please include your name and address in your message.

My office/apartment building is serviced by ZOOTS - how do I start using your service?
Signing up is easy to do through your office or apartment building contact person. They will give you a form to fill in and include with your first order as well as a purple ZOOTS dry cleaning bag. You can also find the form to print located under Office & Apartment Delivery. We do not take office sign-ups on the web.

How do you keep my credit card information safe?
We use Verisign encryption and authentication services for all web transactions to ensure that no one can read any information that is transmitted over the internet to us.

Do you know if your competitors or other delivery services are adding a surcharge?
Most dry cleaners have been aggressively raising prices to cover their increased costs, but we chose a temporary charge to avoid an immediate, permanent price increase.
